Get your business Discover Lincolnshire Weekend ready
Lincolnshire’s tourism experts are urging county-wide visitor economy businesses to get involved with 2023’s Discover Lincolnshire Weekend.
Taking place over March 25th and 26th, Discover Lincolnshire Weekend is the perfect opportunity for visitor economy businesses to showcase their offering to residents and visitors. Our team is thrilled to be leading on this countywide campaign, which is part of Visit England’s annual English Tourism Week, to shine a light on everything that Lincolnshire has to offer.
We are inviting locals and visitors to explore attractions, discover some of the county’s best kept secrets and hidden gems and really get to know how incredible our county is.

Charlotte Goy, Chief Executive Officer of Destination Lincolnshire, said: “We are blessed here in Lincolnshire to have such a wealth of historic, cultural, and vibrant attractions, retailers and food and drink establishments and Discover Lincolnshire Weekend is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to come together and celebrate this offering.
“Now, more than ever, is a time for local discovery and with so much to treasure across the county, the Discover Lincolnshire Weekend will inspire and encourage residents and visitors to learn more about Lincolnshire and enjoy exploring it.
“Falling in line with English Tourism Week, the Discover Lincolnshire Weekend couldn’t come at a better time – it’s a golden opportunity to raise awareness of the sector among our key stakeholders, and Lincolnshire’s great offering as a whole. As always, we’re thrilled to be working with VisitEngland to support Lincolnshire as a destination as well as continuing to champion the wider recovery of the sector.”
Brant Clayton, co-founder Lincoln Free Walking Tours and participant in 2022’s Discover Weekend, added: “We used last year's Discover Lincolnshire Weekend primarily as a way of understanding the marketing power that Destination Lincolnshire and Visit Lincoln could bring to our business. At that time, we were not partners and as a small business we were unsure if the cost of becoming a partner was worth it for us. There seemed to be a buzz in the air around the tourism community and visitors that weekend, it really was a fantastic weekend from our point of view.”
