Stories from leading experts and businesses who supported our evolution into Destination Lincolnshire.
The Destination Management Organisation (DMO), formerly known as Visit Lincoln, officially rebranded as 'Destination Lincolnshire' in early 2022, marking a strategic move to bolster support for the Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland visitor economy. This transformation into a countywide DMO began in 2021, supported by partners, stakeholders, and key professionals within Lincolnshire's visitor economy. Despite this expansion, Visit Lincoln retains its status as an internationally recognized visitor brand, underscoring its ongoing commitment to the City of Lincoln.
The establishment of Destination Lincolnshire as a county-focused organization ensures that businesses across the region benefit from enhanced support and services. This evolution has been shaped by the unique contributions of local businesses, whose stories, insights, and expertise have been instrumental in facilitating this transition to a countywide DMO.
