With 15 years in destination marketing, she has risen from marketing executive to PR director and now chief executive. Charlotte champions Lincolnshire's potential as a top 10 visitor destination, accumulating unrivalled industry knowledge, contacts, and a deep understanding of both its successes and challenges.

Laura Freer
Interim Chief Executive (Director of Visitor Economy)
Yorkshire-born but a big fan of Lincolnshire, Laura brings over 20 years of experience in the visitor economy back to Destination Lincolnshire as Interim Chief Executive and Director of Visitor Economy. Starting out at Visit York, gaining a strong foundation in destination management before taking on a commercial role at LNER and leading a Visit England-funded project. Most recently, she spearheaded visitor economy initiatives for the government’s destination development pilot in North East England. With a knack for driving visitor engagement, she’s ready to help Lincolnshire shine.

Our sanity checker, HR & finance lead and business manager, as well as acting as Charlotte’s PA, Jayne is the one who ensures the entire Destination Lincolnshire team is organised and that everyone has the support they need. With many years of Office Manager experience before joining DL in 2022, Jayne is a pro at prioritising, organising and multi-tasking!

Having studied at the Uni too, Reece has an understanding of how the city has evolved and why it’s so well-placed to retain students.

If you see it or read it, Emily likely created it. She leads on content for Visit Lincoln, managing our social media channels, and creating copy for the website. After a decade living in London, Emily returned home to continue her marketing career in Lincoln. Her favourite area is the Cathedral Quarter, and you will often spot her wandering around the Bailgate, snapping photos, coffee in hand.
